Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Accountant to join our finance team in Riyadh. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting for the company, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations
- Oversee the company's general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date record-keeping
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards in Saudi Arabia
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
- Train and mentor junior finance team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Senior Finance Accountant, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
- Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to stakeholders
- Thorough understanding of Saudi Arabian accounting regulations and reporting standards
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal
