Job Description:
The Front Desk Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the front office operations to ensure exceptional guest service and efficient hotel operations. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Supervise and manage the front desk team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
  • Oversee the check-in and check-out processes to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Handle complex guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, and ensure timely resolution
  • Manage the front desk inventory, including room availability, key distribution, and guest records
  • Analyze front office performance data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure consistent service standards
  • Develop and implement front office policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Monitor and maintain front desk area cleanliness and organization
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for VIP guests and handle their specialized needs
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management for the front office
  • Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards, local regulations, and company policies 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a front desk or front office supervisory role
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of front desk agents
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Arabic and English (additional language skills preferred)
  • Thorough understanding of hotel front office operations and reservation systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
